Be still, and listen. Great advice that I use when I want to see better. The world is an interesting place, and when I simply sit and listen I see it with a new passion. Cityscapes, farm land, animals in their natural habitat…all of these intrigue me. When I am fortunate enough to capture these “sounds” with my camera, I want to share them. Often people tell me, “That reminds me of our vacation,” or “It brings back memories of growing up near there,” or “I think of my dad's farm when I look at your pictures.” Statements like these tell me I am doing something right. I listen so that I see more creatively. My photographs allow me to share the creativity that opens all our senses.
